Job summary

Botanical Designs is seeking an Exterior Maintenance Horticulture Technician in Chelmsford, MA to perform landscape maintenance on client properties. The role involves caring for trees, shrubs, perennials, and seasonal flowers using hand tools and power equipment.

You will mow, prune, fertilize, water, and maintain beds while upholding company quality standards. Applicants should have at least one year of horticultural education or equivalent experience; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year horticultural education or equivalent experience.
• Tropical horticultural background preferred.
• Must have a valid Drivers License and maintain a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks on customer's property including, but not limited to: Maintenance of trees, shrubs, perennial and seasonal flowers.
• Use of hand shears, hand pruners and hand loppers. Gas and electric equipment such as power shears, power blowers, mowers, line trimmers and blowers.
• Mowing, edging, blowing, fertilizer application, weed control, bed raking, trimming and pruning.
• Watering containers, beds and hanging baskets as needed.
• Exceed client's expectations by providing professional, courteous and efficient service at all times.
