Job summary

Fleet Landing, a 125-acre luxury retirement community in Atlantic Beach, Florida, seeks a Landscaping Assistant Manager to oversee landscaping, groundskeeping, and exterior facilities. You will supervise staff, manage safe, aesthetically pleasing outdoor spaces, and coordinate seasonal displays while supporting budget control and vendor coordination.

The role requires 3–5 years in landscape maintenance with irrigation knowledge; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. Bilingual proficiency preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all activities related to maintenance of lawns, gardens, trees, shrubs and landscaping elements.
• Ensure exterior operations comply with safety regulations and standards; identify and address hazards promptly.
• Schedule and prioritize work assignments for the grounds keeping team.
• Coordinate installation of holiday decorations and seasonal displays.
• Assist with budget management, expense tracking and cost control for exterior services operations.
