Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Home Services Sales Consultant who travels to customers’ homes and trade shows to sell exterior and interior products and services. The role focuses on outside sales visits, with most time spent traveling away from a fixed office.

You will assess customer needs, present tailored product recommendations, develop customized quotes, and explain financing options. Proactive new customer outreach and educating store associates on HDIS offerings are also key

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or GED required; in-home or virtual sales experience preferred.
• Minimum 1+ years of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customers' homes and conduct outside sales visits, primarily in customers’ homes.
• Present tailored product recommendations and negotiate price quotes.
• Complete sales contracts and paperwork, and explain financing options.
• Develop and maintain relationships with store management and associates; educate on HDIS offerings.
