Job summary

Walmart is seeking a skilled Landscaping & Maintenance Associate to operate and maintain outdoor facilities in Bastrop, TX. You will manage seasonal landscaping tasks, oversee safety practices, and coordinate with vendors to meet event needs and upkeep standards.

The role requires 2 years of landscaping experience, a valid CDL/driver’s license, and English literacy. You’ll work on-site, maintaining equipment, budgeting for parts, and ensuring environmental and safety guidelines are followed.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include age 21+, valid driver’s license, no major DUI/reckless driving in past 3 years, and DOT pre-hire physical.
• A DOT medical certificate may be required and English language literacy is necessary.
• Two years of landscaping/gardening experience are required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain vehicles and heavy machinery following safety procedures.
• Supplies budgeting for parts, materials, and equipment; process purchase receipts.
• Coordinate with Home Office and manage third‑party providers; supervise performance evaluations.
• Perform seasonal exterior maintenance such as snow/ice management and landscaping tasks.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and environmental compliance at all times.
