Job summary

Walmart is hiring a Technician, Facility Services, Exterior Services-DOT for our WM Supercenter #287 in Jasper, AL. This full-time role involves operating heavy machinery, coordinating with management, and ensuring safe, high-quality exterior maintenance, including seasonal snow and exterior upkeep.

The position offers an hourly wage of $19.00–$35.00 with opportunities for additional premiums and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license.
• Ability to read and speak English per regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operates, inspects, and maintains exterior facilities and equipment.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with Walmart policies and OSHA guidelines.
• Coordinate with Home Office and Regional Managers; manage procurement and budgeting for projects.
• Oversee third-party providers and conduct performance evaluations; ensure quality and safety standards.
• Respond to customer event needs and resolve issues to maintain service levels.
• Perform seasonal exterior maintenance including snow removal and de-icing; manage vehicle upkeep and maintenance.
