Job summary

ASRC Federal Gulf State Constructors seeks an Electrician, Exterior to support Sheppard AFB Base Operations. The role involves installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing exterior electrical systems and high voltage infrastructure on military facilities.

Responsibilities include wiring luminaires, transformers, distribution equipment, and grounding systems, guided by blueprints and NEC standards. U.S. citizenship and SECRET clearance eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with exterior electrical installations and system maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Knowledge of National Electric Code and local codes.
• Ability to qualify for SECRET clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Install and service overhead and underground street lighting equipment.
• Repair distribution equipment, transformers, switches, and cables.
• Test and repair electrical lines and fixtures up to high voltage.
• Troubleshoot and repair grounding systems and lighting protections.
• Follow plans and drawings to route and install electrical systems correctly.
• Work from plans to ensure safe operation of circuits and equipment.
