The Exterior and Garage Cleaner plays a key role in ensuring the commercial property remains clean, safe, and presentable at all times. This position focuses on the maintenance of exterior areas, including the garage, walkways, and common outdoor spaces.

Roles And Responsibilities

General Cleaning & Upkeep

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the garage and exterior areas by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming surfaces as needed
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles throughout the property, including indoor and outdoor locations
• Dust and wipe down surfaces such as equipment, walls, railings, and ledges
• Power wash or manually clean walls, pavers, sidewalks, and elevator landings to remove dirt, stains, and debris
• Perform routine “clean-as-you-go” tasks to keep high-traffic areas tidy throughout the day
  
  

Maintenance Support

• Assist with light maintenance duties, such as basic painting and minor repairs
• Support general groundskeeping tasks, including checking and reporting on irrigation systems
• Identify potential safety hazards or maintenance issues and promptly report them to the supervisor
  
  

Operational Responsibilities

• Arrive on time and perform all tasks in accordance with company standards and safety procedures
• Ensure all work areas are properly secured and locked upon completion of duties
• Maintain a professional appearance and represent the property in a courteous and responsible manner
  
  

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures related to equipment use, chemical handling, and incident reporting

Qualifications

Experience, Knowledge and Education:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Experience in a service environment preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  
  

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to perform physical activities such as but not limited to lifting equipment (up to 50 pounds), bending, standing, riding, climbing, or walking.
  
  

Additional Requirements:

• Successfully pass pre-employment screening.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work each day.
