Job summary

V2Soft, Inc. is seeking a Design Release Engineer to support the design validation and release process for automotive closures from concept through production.

You will own DFMEA sessions, risk analysis, design compliance, and supplier coordination to ensure parts meet engineering standards. The role requires hands-on CAD work (NX/CATIA/SolidWorks), GD&T, 3D modeling, and running interference checks to align styling with manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with DFMEA and ability to take measurements in CAD.
• Bachelor's Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Lead DFMEA sessions with cross-functional teams and maintain DFMEAs.
• Review designs against Design Rules and standards; document deviations.
• Assemble and maintain design verification evidence packages for reviews and PPAP.
• Create Supplier Corrective Action Forms (SCAFs) to document nonconformances and corrective actions.
• Coordinate supplier communications and problem-solving meetings.
• Use CAD tools to review models/drawings and support cross-functional design reviews.
