Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Animal Science or closely related field.

• Ability to work in teams and lead initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Extension programming through trainings, workshops, field days, webinars, and producer consultations.
• Develop peer‑reviewed Extension publications, fact sheets, decision‑support tools, and digital content.
• Build relationships with county educators, producer organizations, breed associations and industry partners.
• Establish an applied, funded research program addressing priority livestock challenges.
• Publish findings in appropriate scientific journals and secure extramural funding.
