Qualifications

  • PhD in Plant Pathology or related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in applied plant pathology research and extension/outreach.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on field-grown fruit, vegetable, and tobacco pathology.
  • Develop and implement an educational/outreach program for specialty crops statewide.
  • Conduct translational research and secure external funding.
  • Mentor graduate students within the Integrated Plant and Soils Sciences program.
  • Contribute to MGCAFE missions through teaching, outreach and service.
