Qualifications

• Deliver outreach, education, or technical assistance to farmers.
• Experience in marketing, sales, or data analysis for specialty crops.
• Strong written and verbal communication; works independently and in teams.
• Proficiency with reporting, presentation, data-tracking tools, and online platforms.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; evenings/weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Recruit farmers to participate in the AMP project.
• Develop and deliver education on manure-based fertilizer and regenerative practices.
• Coordinate producer engagement activities (field days, demos, training, cohorts).
• Develop fact sheets, videos, and educational materials on vegetable production with manure-based fertilizer.
• Assist farmers in obtaining a farm number from USDA - Farm Service Agency.
• Provide resources to farmers on USDA programs.
• Provide on-site technical assistance and document production activities.
• Develop marketing strategies for specialty crops.
• Deliver marketing programming on labeling, direct marketing, online tools, CSA, cooperative markets, and partnerships.
