POSITION: Extended School Year (ESY) Transportation Assistant (School Bus Aide) - SUBSTITUTE (Temporary) (Multiple Openings)

LOCATION: Transportation Department

AVAILABLE: ESY runs for 5 weeks
June 30, 2025 - July 31, 2025, Monday - Thursday

COMPENSATION: $25.00 p/hour

HOURS: Substitute - As Needed

DESCRIPTION: CBSD is accepting applications for Substitute Transportation Assistants. The Transportation Assistant (School Bus Aide) will ride on a school bus and assist Special Needs students. Applicants must be in good physical condition as responsibilities include securing wheelchairs (including tie-downs), strapping a child into a safety vest, and/or fastening a seat belt.
Training provided.

REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must be able to stoop, crawl, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds. Must have patience and enjoy working with children.
