Job Posting: Extended Field Technicians (Contract Position)

Location: Cuthbert, Georgia

Position Type: Contract (As Needed Basis)

Are you a skilled technician with a passion for mechanical and electrical systems? We are seeking Extended Field Technicians to join our team on a contract basis. This is an opportunity to work in various locations across the country, offering flexibility and the chance to contribute to exciting projects.

Qualifications
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Demonstrated ability to support and manage a large volume of materials and equipment.
  • Interest in building, assembling, and troubleshooting complex systems.
Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, inspect, recondition, repair, assemble, test, and troubleshoot system-level and component-level issues in electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Perform troubleshooting, corrective maintenance, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs on electrical and mechanical testing equipment to ensure uninterrupted production and data flow.
  • Install, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and equipment according to written instructions, blueprints, or technical drawings.
  • Ensure operational efficiency of electrical equipment and mechanical systems through timely inspection and repair.
  • Maintain compliance with regulations, laws, and policies to ensure safety.
  • Organize and prepare required reports, daily logs, time sheets, work orders, and bills of materials.
  • Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, or plans to perform moderate testing and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct mechanical, electrical, and process testing on KETOS platforms according to engineering and manufacturing documentation and specifications.
  • Observe all safety standards and maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area.
  • Maintain effective communication with the KETOS Field Operations team and Customer Support Team.
