  • Manage extended day programs, supervise all activities and staff for Lower and Middle School. Hire, train and supervise extended day staff. Schedule and coordinate staffing, fill in if needed.
  • Plan and coordinate child care days during school breaks and professional days for Lower School during the school year.
  • Communicate with parents and prospective families, as needed.
  • Organize, evaluate programs regularly and adjust as needed.
  • Provide direction to extended day staff for a program with variety, creativity and fresh ideas.

  • Provide initial orientation/in-service and supervise extended day staff. Interview applicants and provide support through the hiring process.

  • Provide information to the business office for billing and work with the business office on billing issues.
  • Monitor day-to-day operations, ensuring proper staffing ratios and program quality.
  • Evaluate extended day teacher/staff and incorporate any parent feedback.
  • Monitor staff hours and submit pay information to the business office.
  • Ensure the safety of all children during programs of responsibility.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • School Year (August - May): 2 - 6 pm daily, 7:45 - 9:45 am one Thursday per month, 7:45 - 5:30 during school Thanksgiving, Winter, and Spring breaks, 2 parent teacher conferences, and 2 in-service days.
  • Summer (June and July): 3 - 6 pm Monday thru Friday, additional hours may be available.

    Job summary:
    Develop, coordinate and manage the after school extended day program for the lower (elementary) and middle school levels. Provide a positive experience for students and staff and ensure coverage and manage the extended day program, Monday through Friday between the hours of 2-6 pm (see schedule for hours).

    Compensation: Pay range is $18-$20 per hour, depending on experience. Benefits include a retirement match of up to 8% of salary, PTO and sick bank.
