Job summary

Roanoke Catholic School is seeking a dependable, caring After School Care Assistant to create a safe, welcoming space for students after school. The role emphasizes patience, professionalism, and aligning with the school’s mission.

You will supervise, assist with check-in and dismissal, lead activities, help with homework, and communicate with families and staff. Part-time hours align with the school year, typically Monday to Friday, 2:30 to 6:00 p.m., with occasional extra hours.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must successfully complete required background and child-safety screenings.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students and ensure their safety and well-being.
