Exterior Door Assembler

Job Summary: Assembles Exterior doors, prepares Exterior door jamb components. Understands the exterior components and industry, works well with team.

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Build doors at an increasing rate over time with exceptional quality.
• Assemble/ builds exterior single door units.
• Works on a team at a fast pace.
• Builders will shoot door frames together with pneumatic staple and nail guns,
• Install door glass into door panels,
• Apply hinges to door frames and panels,
• Apply brick mold to door units when complete.
• Doors will then be dressed for shipping with supplied products and placed onto a designated cart.

Required Skills/Abilities:
• Knowledge of nail guns, basic hand tools (tape measure, hammer, knives, etc.)
• Able to read and write in English.
• Compute basic measurements with fractions.
• Carpentry skills are a plus.
• Must be able to keep their workspace clean and be on time.

Qualifications

Education and Experience: High school diploma

Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. frequently.
• Stand on concrete floors for up to 10 hour shifts.
