Medical City Alliance Mental Health in Fort Worth seeks an Expressive Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to art, music, dance, drama, poetry, and writing as therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Art Therapy, Music Therapy, or Recreation Therapy is required.
• Certification MT-BC, ATR-BC, or CTRS may be required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Complete activity therapy assessments.
• Provide group and individual expressive therapy sessions.
• Display professionalism in dealing with customers, staff and clinicians.
• Complete assignments in a timely manner.
• Complete documentation in a timely manner.
• Follow all hospital policies and procedures.
• Attend and participate in monthly activity therapy staff meetings.
• Attend and participate in weekly clinical supervision.
• Work with the interdisciplinary team in meeting treatment goals.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
