Job summary

Hanover Hill Behavioral Health in Bethlehem, PA, seeks an experienced Expressive Arts Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team in a state-of-the-art facility. This role focuses on planning and implementing activity services within treatment goals and providing ongoing patient care.

The position offers a 20-hour week schedule (Friday evenings and weekend shifts), a supportive work environment, and comprehensive benefits. Bachelor's is required; CTRS licensure or equivalent is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and Master's degree preferred.
• Possess current registration, CTRS certification or licensure as per state/national board standards.
• One year of related experience with psychiatric patient care techniques and understanding of mental illness preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement activity services for the assigned program as part of the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide continuous patient care, observation, interaction and role modeling to patients.
• Participate in treatment planning and goals with the care team.

This brand new 144-bed free standing behavioral health facility offers the community high-quality behavioral health care services for seniors, adults and adolescents.

Hanover Hill is seeking an experienced Expressive Arts Therapist. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a multi-disciplinary team while working in a state-of-the-art facility, including EPIC.

The Expressive Arts Therapist is responsible for planning and implementing activity services for assigned program, which involves defining and implementing treatment goals as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team and providing continuous patient care, observation, interaction, and role modeling to patients.

Schedule

20 hours/week (4 hour shift Friday evenings and 8 hour shifts Saturday and Sunday)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and Master's degree is preferred.
• Possess current registration, certification as CTRS or licensure in accordance with state and/or national board standards of specific field of allied health (i.e., art, recreational, music, psychodrama therapy, Occupational Therapy, Dance & Movement), required.
• One year of related experience, with knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques with understanding of mental illness, preferred.
