Job summary

Hanover Hill Behavioral Health in Bethlehem, PA seeks an experienced Expressive Arts Therapist to join a multi-disciplinary team in a state-of-the-art facility. The role includes planning and implementing activity services, and contributing to treatment goals within the interdisciplinary team.

The position entails providing continuous patient care, observation, and role modeling to patients, supporting seniors, adults and adolescents in a behavioral health program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Possess current registration, certification as CTRS or licensure in accordance with state and/or national board standards of specific field of allied health (i.e., art, recreational, music, psychodrama therapy, Occupational Therapy, Dance & Movement).
• One year of related experience, with knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques with understanding of mental illness, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement activity services for the assigned program.
• Define and implement treatment goals as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Provide continuous patient care, observation, interaction and role modeling to patients.
