Survey Pilot, Dayton, OH

Overview

Woolpert is seeking a Survey Pilot to join our Aerial Acquisitions team in Dayton, OH. This remote position reports to the Chief Pilot and involves flying survey missions. Candidates should have at least 1000 logged flight hours, including 500 multi-engine hours, with priority given to those with survey experience.

Essential Functions

As a Survey Pilot at Woolpert, you will:

• Conduct survey flights and support aerial acquisition projects.

Minimum Requirements

• 1000 total logged flight hours with 500 multi-engine hours.
• FAA Commercial, Multi-Engine Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Willingness to travel multiple weeks and manage travel expenses.

Preferred Skills and Abilities

• Experience in survey, aerial photography, or LiDAR mapping.
• Experience with turbine aircraft.
• Airline Transport Pilot Certificate.
• Additional certifications (A&P Mechanic, Flight Instructor).
• Educational background (BA/BS or MA/MS).
• Current US Passport and willingness for international travel.
• Strong communication, writing, and computer skills.
• Commitment to flight safety and aerial surveying techniques.
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment verification and drug screening.
