Expression of Interest - Sanitary Sewer Vac Truck Driver

We are currently not hiring for this role but invite interested candidates to express their interest for future opportunities. The Jet-Vac Operator is responsible for cleaning storm water and sanitary sewers, with occasional diving in sanitary manholes. A valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required, and candidates must be adaptable to Woolpert's specific processes and procedures. Occasional travel may be involved.

Responsibilities

• Perform robotic telemonitoring inspections of sewer lines using CCTV cameras, following NASSCO standards, including advanced data collection and troubleshooting.
• Operate Vac Truck and maintain CCTV equipment.
• Support sewer maintenance, inspection, and rehabilitation tasks.
• Maintain all equipment in operational condition.
• Assist in sewer line cleaning as needed.
• Adhere to safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Comply with DOT regulations while operating machinery and vehicles.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Class A or B CDL
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations
• Safe driving record
• Strong attention to detail
• Teamwork skills
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
• Outdoor physical work including standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, and crouching (at least 50%)
• High School diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license
• NASSCO PACP, LACP, and MACP certifications are preferred but not required

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift and move over 100 pounds
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, and climb frequently
• Ability to safely climb ladders into manholes
• Visual acuity including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment
