Job summary

Lee Johnson Auto Family is seeking an Express Technician to perform maintenance and inspections in accordance with dealer and factory standards. The role emphasizes customer service, vehicle safety, and efficient turnarounds.

The candidate will work closely with the service department, perform routine maintenance, and ensure vehicles are clean and presentable for customers. Training is available for those transitioning from automotive work from other settings.

Qualifications

• Valid WA state driver’s license.
• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.

• Ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles, including manual and automatic transmissions.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor maintenance and inspections as assigned (oil/filters, tires, cabin/air filters, bulbs, wiper blades).
• Conduct complete vehicle maintenance inspections (tires, brakes, fluids).
• Communicate maintenance recommendations to the service advisor.
• Keep the customer’s vehicle clean and coordinate routine maintenance and courtesy vehicle cleaning.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Express Technician will perform vehicle maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards.

• Perform minor maintenance, e.g., changing oil and filters, rotating tires, replacing cabin or air filters, replacing bulbs and changing wiper blades.
• Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspection including tires, brakes and fluid levels.
• Communicate appropriate customer vehicle maintenance recommendations to the service advisor.
• Ensures customers vehicle is kept clean.
• Coordinate routine maintenance and cleaning of courtesy vehicle.
• Perform other duties as assigned
