Qualifications

• Entry-level candidates encouraged; diagnostic, electrical and engine repair skills preferred.
• Strong manual dexterity and ability to use diagnostic tools.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Document and perform work as outlined on repair orders following all dealership standards.
• Drain oil and replace filters; perform basic maintenance per service guidance.
• Inspect fluid levels and replenish as necessary.
• Check tire pressure and adjust as needed.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Keep shop area neat and clean; manage tools and manuals.
• Operate tools safely and efficiently; follow warranty procedures.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose systems using specialized equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair engine, transmission, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Provide time estimates for additional repairs to customers.
• Inform Service Advisor of any additional service needs.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
