Job summary

Sunset Cadillac of Bradenton, part of Sunset Automotive Group, is hiring an Express Tech/Lube and Tire Technician to join our service team. This entry-level position offers company-paid training and opportunities for advancement for the right candidate.

We value dependable individuals with basic auto-repair knowledge and a willingness to learn. Duties include lube/oil/filter changes, tire rotations, inspections, and safe tool handling, with scheduled Mon-Sat shifts.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position with basic automotive knowledge.
• Company-paid training provided; advancement opportunities.
• Automotive schooling or ASE certifications are encouraged but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform work per repair order following dealer and factory standards.
• Conduct lube, oil and filter changes accurately and efficiently.
• Carry out tire rotation, replacements, fluid flushes and filter changes.
• Inspect vehicles and note maintenance/repair needs.
• Operate tools and equipment safely.
• Complete required manufacturer training to become certified.

Express Tech/Lube and Tire Technician

Needed immediately to join our elite team at Sunset Cadillac of Bradenton, a proud member of the Sunset Automotive Group family of new car dealerships in Sarasota and Manatee counties.

If you are serious about your automotive service career, dependable, knowledgeable on auto repair basics, and willing to learn, this could be your chance!

• Previous experience in an auto service center or oil change facility preferred.
• Schooling and/or certifications considered in lieu of experience.
• Outstanding opportunity for advancement for the right individual.

Automotive Lube and Tire Technician Duties

This is an entry-level technician position where some basic skills are required. Company-paid training will be provided and advancement opportunities available. Applicants with previous automotive service experience and certifications are encouraged to apply.

• Perform work as outlined on repair order in accordance with dealership and factory standards
• Perform lube, oil and filter changes efficiently and accurately
• Perform other routine auto maintenance and repair including tire rotation and replacements, fluid flushes, air and other filter replacement, etc.
• Perform vehicle inspection and note vehicle maintenance and repair concerns
• Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
• Complete required manufacturer training to become certified auto service technician

Automotive Lube and Tire Technician Requirements

• Must be available to work Monday - Saturday (Up to 6 days a week, rotating Saturdays)
• Automotive Schooling and/or ASE Certifications preferred.
