Job summary

Sunset Kia of Sarasota, part of Sunset Automotive Group, is hiring a Professional Maintenance Tech/Lube and Tire Technician. This entry-level role offers company-paid training and opportunities for advancement within the dealership network.

The position requires automotive schooling or ASE certifications, a valid Florida driver's license, and availability to work up to six days a week. Competitive pay with benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• Automotive schooling and/or ASE Certifications preferred.
• Must have valid FL Driver's License.
• Ability to work Monday through Saturday (up to 6 days a week).

Responsibilities

• Perform lube, oil and filter changes efficiently and accurately.
• Carry out tire rotation and replacement, fluid flushes, air and other filter replacement.
• Inspect vehicles and note maintenance and repair concerns.
• Operate all tools and equipment safely and in accordance with standards.
• Complete required Kia manufacturer training to become certified Kia technician.

Automotive Lube and Tire Technician Duties

This is an entry-level technician position where some basic skills are required. Company-paid training will be provided to provide an opportunity to advance your career. Applicants with previous automotive service experience and certifications are encouraged to apply.

• Perform work as outlined on repair order in accordance with dealership and factory standards
• Perform lube, oil and filter changes efficiently and accurately
• Perform other routine auto maintenance and repair including tire rotation and replacements, fluid flushes, air and other filter replacement, etc.
• Perform vehicle inspection and note vehicle maintenance and repair concerns
• Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
• Complete required Kia manufacturer training to become certified Kia technician

• Must be able to work Monday - Saturday (Up to 6 days a week)
• Automotive Schooling and/or ASE Certifications preferred.
• Successful candidate MUST have a valid FL Driver's License
