Job summary

Orem Mazda in Orem, UT is seeking an Express Service Lube Technician to join our busy service team. You will perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections, following established procedures and recording findings for service records.

We value a strong work ethic and customer-focused communication. Prior Lube Technician experience is preferred but training is available for motivated applicants with automotive interest.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Lube Technician is preferred but not required; training available.
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and other routine maintenance tasks on customer vehicles.
• Inspect fluid levels, filters, belts, and hoses, identifying potential issues.
• Complete vehicle inspections and record findings for service records.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and proper disposal of waste materials.
• Collaborate with other technicians and service advisors for timely completion.
• Continuously update knowledge through dealership-provided training.
