Job Title: Express Maintenance Technician

Town Toyota is seeking an Express Maintenance Technician responsible for performing routine maintenance services and repairs on vehicles in a fast-paced, high-volume service department. The successful candidate will professionally service our guests' vehicles, ensure quality work, and deliver an excellent guest experience. Vehicle services include quick maintenance such as tire rotations, fluid checks, and oil changes on all makes and models.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Perform oil changes and tire rotations using manufacturer-approved procedures and equipment.
2. Conduct multi-point inspections to identify service needs or potential issues.
3. Complete basic maintenance tasks like replacing air filters, wiper blades, and batteries.
4. Perform basic repairs such as brake pad replacements, fluid flushes, and belt replacements.
5. Ensure all work is completed efficiently and accurately, and vehicles are returned clean and washed.
6. Maintain a clean and organized service area, and properly care for equipment and tools.
7. Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and team members, document work, and address customer concerns.
8. Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience with routine vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Knowledge of basic automotive systems and components.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays.
• Valid Washington State Driver’s License or equivalent, with licenses converted within 30 days of employment.
• Clean driving record.
• Willingness to submit to pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Work Environment:

This position involves operating motor vehicles. Impairment due to drugs or alcohol could result in serious injury or death.
