Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in a shop service environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with good record; CDL/DOT certification preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Able to operate boom trucks or cranes and field service equipment.
• Proficient with computer, MS Office and service software; complete service reports.

Responsibilities

• Lubricate moving parts of machinery with specified lubricants.
• Inspect fluid levels in engine, hydraulics, transmission and other compartments.
• Inject grease using hand or air-powered grease gun.
• Drain and refill oil; collect samples for testing.
• Replace oil and air filters; advise on additional services.
• Monitor inventories of oil, filters, and related parts.
• Inform customers of service due dates and future recommendations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Work overtime as required by job and customer demand.

Job Title: Express Lube Technician

Location:Richmond, Virginia

Starting Compensation Range: $30.45 - $38.28 per hour + Shift Differential

What You Will Do:

• Lubricate moving parts of various types of machinery with specified lubricants
• Inspect fluid levels for various compartments, including engine, hydraulics, transmission etc. (water, oil and grease)
• Inject grease into units using hand or compressed- air powered grease gun
• Drain oil and refill with required amount
• Collect oil samples for testing
• Replace oil and air filters
• Recommend other services with customer as part of inspection review process
• Monitor and maintain inventories of oil, filters, etc.
• Inform customer of upcoming service due dates and make recommendation for future service
• Perform other related duties, as assigned

WhatWe’reLooking For:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a shop service environment
• High school diploma or GED, required
• Valid driver’s license
• Must have an excellent driving record and the ability to obtain a CDL or DOT certification
• Strong mechanical aptitude, with ability to perform responsibilities at customer job site with minimal supervision
• Capability of operating boom truck or equivalent
• Proper use of overhead and field service cranes
• Ability to operate a variety of equipment in the field and on customer job-sites
• Proficiency in the use of a computer, Microsoft Office products and service software
• Ability to complete service reports and provide pertinent details for work orders
• Willingness to work overtime as required by job and customer demand
