Job summary

Savannah Toyota is seeking a service technician to perform Express Maintenance and light repairs on customer vehicles. You will follow dealership and Toyota standards while inspecting, torquing, and documenting work to ensure quality and safety.

You will perform oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and filter replacements, and you will verify wheel installation and torque with approved equipment. The role requires teamwork and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior automotive, maintenance, tire, or lube experience preferred; entry-level candidates may be considered.
• Ability to read and follow repair orders, maintenance procedures, torque specs, and safety requirements.
• Ability to use common automotive hand tools, torque wrenches, vehicle lifts, tire equipment safely after training.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and accurately record measurements and service information.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and take direction.

Responsibilities

• Performs work per repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Follows Toyota Express Maintenance process and dealership procedures.
• Performs oil/air filter changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and basic maintenance.
• Completes inspections and documents vehicle conditions accurately.
• Verifies wheel installation and torque to spec with proper equipment.
• Maintains safety and quality before releasing a vehicle.
