Job summary

Rick Hendrick City Chevrolet in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Lube Technician to perform express lube duties on vehicles. You will drain and replace oil and filters, lubricate joints, and ensure proper fluid levels, reporting repairs to the service advisor.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
• Demonstrable mechanical skills and knowledge.
• Technical training or commensurate technical experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Automobile Salesperson License.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to express lube guidelines.
• Performs lube, oil and filter changes and lubricates joints.
• Reports repairs to service advisor.
• Installs LOF reminder sticker in vehicle.
• Checks and refills fluids as needed.
• Checks coolant level and refills as necessary.
• Ensures vehicle is clean and free of fluid residue.
• Maintains proper fluid levels prior to release.
• Maintains CSI at or above Company standards.
• Keeps work area organized, clean and safe.
• Participates in required training.
• Records hours worked accurately in timekeeping system.
• Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.
• Demonstrates Company Core Values.
• Complies with Company policies and procedures.
• Observes safety rules and regulations in duties.
• Other duties as assigned.
