Express Lube Technician - Fishersville, VA

Sign-on Bonus: $2,000 (payable in two installments: $1,000 after 90 days and $1,000 after 180 days)

Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and Washington D.C., is hiring an Express Lube Technician for 2nd shift in Fishersville, VA.

The position involves performing preventative maintenance services on heavy equipment at customer sites or in our shop. Candidates should have at least 2 years' experience in a shop service environment and possess a high school diploma or GED.

Requirements:

• Strong mechanical skills and ability to work independently at customer sites.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License or ability to obtain one; excellent driving record.
• Ability to operate boom trucks, overhead cranes, and field service cranes.
• Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, and service software for reporting.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Adherence to safety and environmental standards.
• Efficient use of supplies with minimal waste.
• Extensive travel throughout the year.
• Ability to promote positive customer interactions.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver items up to 70 pounds, work in various physical positions, and operate in outdoor conditions, including extreme weather. Specific vision abilities are required to perform the job effectively.
