Express Lube Technician - Sign-On Bonus and Job Details

We are offering a $2,000 sign-on bonus for new hires as an Express Lube Technician. The bonus is paid in two installments: $1,000 after 90 days and $1,000 after 180 days of employment.

Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and Washington D.C., is hiring in Dulles, Virginia for 1st & weekend shifts.

Job Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance services on heavy equipment located on customer job sites or in a shop setting. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in a shop service environment. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Requirements

1. Strong mechanical aptitude, capable of working at customer sites with minimal supervision.
2. Valid Commercial Driver's License or ability to obtain CDL/DOT certification; excellent driving record.
3. Ability to operate boom trucks, overhead cranes, and field service cranes.
4. Proficient in computer use, including Microsoft Office and service software; able to complete service reports.
5. Ability to work overtime as needed.
6. Compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
7. Efficient use of supplies, minimizing waste.
8. Extensive travel throughout the year.
9. Promote positive customer experiences.

Physical and Environmental Requirements

Must be able to lift and maneuver items up to 70 pounds, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and perform physical tasks such as reaching, standing, kneeling, and climbing.
