Job summary

McGavock Auto Group is seeking an Express Lube Technician to perform routine vehicle maintenance quickly, accurately, and safely, delivering an exceptional customer experience. This entry-level role offers training and opportunities for advancement within the dealership.

You will handle oil changes, tire rotations, inspections, fluid checks, and basic repairs, while maintaining a clean, safe work area and following all safety policies. Training and certification opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; training is provided.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil and filter changes according to manufacturer and dealership standards.
• Complete tire rotations, tire pressure checks, and basic tire inspections.
• Inspect and replace air filters, cabin filters, windshield wiper blades, and other maintenance items as needed.
• Perform multi-point vehicle inspections and accurately document findings.
• Check and top off vehicle fluids, including coolant, brake fluid, power steering fluid, and windshield washer fluid.
• Inspect batteries, belts, hoses, lights, and other basic vehicle components.
• Recommend additional maintenance or repairs by reporting inspection results to the service advisor.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Properly use and maintain shop equipment and tools.
• Follow all dealership safety policies, environmental regulations, and manufacturer procedures.
• Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with additional shop duties as assigned.
