Job summary

Valley Nissan is seeking an Express Lube Technician to join our service team. This position offers hands-on automotive maintenance experience and opportunities for long-term growth within the dealership.

You will perform oil changes, inspections, and other routine maintenance, while documenting vehicle condition and communicating findings to Service Advisors. We provide on-the-job training and manufacturer training opportunities to help you advance.

Qualifications

• Interest in automotive maintenance and repair.
• Willingness and ability to learn new technology, service procedures, and vehicle specifications.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
• Basic computer and technology skills.
• Ability to safely operate shop equipment and electronic inspection tools.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil and filter changes and other routine maintenance services.
• Complete thorough multi-point vehicle inspections.
• Use photos and videos to clearly document vehicle condition and recommended maintenance.
• Inspect tires, brakes, fluids, filters, batteries, wipers, and other basic maintenance items.
• Perform tire rotations and other approved express maintenance services.
• Safely operate lifts, power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools.
• Communicate vehicle concerns and inspection findings clearly with Service Advisors.
• Work closely with other technicians and advisors to maintain an efficient workflow.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow dealership and manufacturer service procedures.
• Provide a high level of care for every guest vehicle.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by service department leadership.
