Job summary

Halladay Subaru in Cheyenne, WY is expanding and seeking motivated lube technicians for our Express Service Lane. We offer a brand-new dealership, competitive pay, and benefits including health, vision, dental, life insurance, 401(k), paid vacation and holidays.

Responsibilities include documenting work on repair orders, draining and refilling oil, inspecting fluids, tire checks, parts coordination, tool maintenance, safe operation of equipment, and completing repairs to manufacturer specs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Willing to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications.
• Demonstrates good communication and teamwork.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Document and perform work as outlined on repair orders following dealership and factory standards.
• Drain oil and replace with required amount; replace oil and oil filters.
• Inspect fluid levels and replenish as necessary.
• Check tire pressure and adjust as needed.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Keep shop area neat and maintain accountability for tools and manuals.
• Operate tools and equipment safely.
• Perform repairs as listed on repair orders with efficiency and quality.
• Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to verify repair quality.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engine, trans, brakes, A/C, etc.
• Inform Express Service Advisor of additional services and times needed.

Responsibilities

• Document and perform work as outlined on repair order following all dealership and factory standards.
• Drain oil from crankcase and refill with required amount of oil; replace oil and oil filters.
• Inspect vehicle fluid levels and replace or replenish as necessary.
• Check tire pressure and add air if needed.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Keep shop area neat and clean as needed.
• Maintain accountability for all dealership-owned tools and manuals.
• Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Express Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed.
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
