Carter Machinery Company, Inc. is hiring an Express Lube Service Advisor in Chesapeake, VA (with Williamsburg, VA location options). Starting compensation ranges from $64,000 to $83,000 per year.

You will communicate with customers to identify equipment issues and provide status updates while work orders are created and managed efficiently to keep technicians informed. Ideal candidates have at least two years of service-related experience, solid communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft

Job Title: Express Lube Service Advisor

The Express Lube Service Advisor is responsible for communicating with internal and external customers to gather information regarding equipment issues and providing repair status updates while repairs are in progress; opening/processing work orders in an efficient and timely manner using thorough details on customer requests/complaints to ensure technician understanding and customer satisfaction.

Requirements for the Express Lube Service Advisor position include:

Seeking Candidates with:

• Minimum two years’ service related experience; heavy equipment exposure
• High School diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements:

• Required to sit and talk or hear
• Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus
