Job summary

Edmond Hyundai is seeking an experienced Express Lane Shop Foreman to lead the Express Service team in a high-volume dealership environment in Edmond, OK. You will mentor technicians, dispatch work efficiently, and ensure repairs meet Hyundai factory standards and warranty requirements.

You’ll collaborate with Service Advisors and maintain a clean, safe, and productive shop while upholding exceptional customer satisfaction and team accountability.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in automotive service is preferred.
• Hyundai dealership experience is highly preferred; other OEM dealership experience will be considered.
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
• ASE certifications are a plus.
• Hyundai certifications are preferred or willingness to obtain them.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Positive attitude with a commitment to teamwork and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support Express Lane and Maintenance Technicians.
• Dispatch work to maximize technician productivity and minimize customer wait times.
• Perform quality control inspections before vehicles are returned to customers.
• Assist technicians with diagnostics and repair procedures when needed.
• Ensure all repairs meet Hyundai factory standards and warranty requirements.
• Maintain efficient shop workflow while delivering outstanding customer satisfaction.
• Foster a positive, team‑oriented culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with Service Advisors to provide accurate repair updates and estimated completion times.
• Train and mentor entry‑level technicians as they advance through their careers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
