Job summary

Ourisman Honda of Frederick is looking for a dedicated Express Honda Technician to join our service team. You will receive a structured, in-house training program led by a Honda Master Technician to develop the skills needed for a successful automotive career.

This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, with opportunities to grow into a Honda Technician while learning maintenance and diagnostic procedures on a variety of vehicles.

Qualifications

• Interest in automotive repair and a desire to become a Honda Technician.
• Active participation in training and applying learned skills to daily tasks.
• Basic mechanical skills and understanding of vehicle maintenance.
• Excellent customer service and communication with customers and teammates.
• Familiarity with automotive tools and a willingness to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle inspections and MPI walkthroughs to identify maintenance needs.
• Follow structured training protocols to improve technical skills.
• Work with a Honda Master Technician for long‑term career foundation.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in service bays and tools.
• Assist other technicians to support efficient workflow and quality service.
• Communicate with customers about services performed and recommendations.
• Apply Honda-specific training techniques and diagnostic tools.
• Perform tire rotations, balance tires, and check tire pressure.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Express Honda Technician to join our service team. In this role, you will perform routine maintenance and inspections on a variety of vehicles while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. More About The Role

• Conduct vehicle inspections, including video Multi-Point Inspections (MPI) and customer walkarounds, to identify potential issues or maintenance needs.
• Follow structured training protocols that have been refined over the past three years to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
• Work alongside and receive mentorship from a Honda Master Technician, ensuring a solid foundation for a long-term career in automotive repair.
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of service bays, tools, and equipment, reporting any issues or malfunctions.
• Assist other service technicians and team members as needed to support efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
• Participate in hands-on mentorship from a Honda Master Technician with structured learning modules.
• Perform process-driven approach to ensure consistency and comprehensive skill development.
• Apply real-world application of Honda-specific training techniques and diagnostic tools.
• Conduct tire rotations, balance tires, and check tire pressure, advising on tire condition and wear.
• Communicate with customers to explain services performed and provide recommendations for additional maintenance.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

What We Look For

• A strong interest in automotive repair and the ambition to become a Honda Technician.

• Previous experience in an automotive service role is a plus, but not required.
• Basic mechanical skills and an understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures.
