Job summary

Meijer in Michigan is seeking an entry level Stocking Clerk to deliver remarkable customer service, provide product knowledge, and keep shelves stocked. You will stock shelves, move products from pallets to shelves, backstock, keep backroom clean, work with leadership, and interact with customers.

This role includes overnight shifts and opportunities to grow within a family company that values development and community.

Qualifications

• Comfort learning and using basic technology.
• Ability to follow processes in an organized way.
• Stay calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with shared-goals mindset.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations efficiently.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in backroom areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

What You'll Do

As a Stocking Clerk, you play a critical role in keeping our store running smoothly. Your workensures shelves are fully stocked for our customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.

You'll:

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products
