Job summary

AHN Express Care Erie is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to deliver primary and urgent care to a diverse patient population. The APP will work within a collaborative team, perform comprehensive exams, order and interpret studies, and develop treatment plans in alignment with clinical standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate from ARC-PA accredited program.
• Current PA license in PA or CRNP license and prescriptive authority within 60 days of hire.
• National Board Certification for Nurse Practitioners (AANP/ANCC).
• CPR–American Heart Association (ACLS).
• Background clearances (Act 33/73, FBI).

Responsibilities

• Perform complete histories and physical examinations.
• Order labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies as appropriate.
• Interpret data and determine treatment plan.
• Make diagnoses and institute therapy within scope and standards.
• Document in EMR and communicate with attending physician.
