Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an Associate in Exposure Management to oversee exposures for Global Securities Services, mainly focusing on North America.

You will work with trading desks and risk teams to uphold risk culture, compliance, and effective communication across regions and products. Responsibilities include developing risk reporting processes, monitoring market trends, reviewing trades, and ensuring adequate capitalization and adherence to risk mandates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science or Mathematics.
• Strong knowledge of securities markets and how factors affect instruments.
• Ability to troubleshoot, process large data sets, and understand context and implications.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; programming skills (Python/SQL/VBA) a plus.
• Strong relationship building, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, meet deadlines, and work in a team.
• Strong quantitative background with risk/pricing model understanding.

Responsibilities

• Develop a healthy risk culture with the desk and escalate issues.
• Manage multiple projects to improve exposure reporting and processes.
• Monitor market trends, relate to desk activity, and share insights globally.
• Review proposed trades, participate in client meetings, ensure capitalization for exposures.
• Ensure compliance with Security Services trading desk risk mandates.
• Conduct daily reviews of trading desk exposures and stress results.
• Communicate with Trading Desks, Product, Risk Officers, and Technology.
