Job summary

G&C Food Distributors in Alachua, FL seeks a Utility Export to manage export duties, ensure compliance with destination regulations, and operate pallet jacks and scanners to assemble orders for shipment.

The role requires 1 year of warehouse experience, strong organization and communication skills, and the ability to work Monday–Friday 7am–3:30pm with potential overtime. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 1 year of order selection/warehouse experience; 2-3 years preferred.
• Flexible to overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Self-motivated with ability to interact with all levels of management.
• Strong problem solving, organization and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare shipments, documentation and records per USDA regulations.
• Collect data from product for country requirements for various regions.
• Hand-select orders in multi-temperature warehouse environments.
• Label products with region-specific labels (Spanish/USDA labels).
• Coordinate inspections with USDA inspectors.
• Stage and load containers and ensure loads are secure for travel.
