Job summary

Pall Corporation is seeking an Export Traffic Controller to coordinate all shipping functions from Cortland, NY. The role ensures compliance with export regulations and manages hazardous and special shipments. This onsite position reports to the Materials Manager within the Operations team.

Candidate will handle shipping paperwork, carrier communications, and maintain documentation in accordance with company policies, with a salary range of $80,000–$95,000 and bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Seven years of experience in logistics, traffic, or shipping, or nine years in a related discipline.
• Dangerous Goods certification required for air shipments.
• Regulatory and compliance background in trucking materials.
• Experience handling hazardous materials.

The Export Traffic Controller coordinates all shipping functions, ensures compliance with applicable federal and state export regulations, and verifies that required processes and procedures are followed before, during, and after shipment. This role is responsible for hazardous, export, and other special shipping instructions and documentation.

This position reports to the Materials Manager and is part of the Operations team located in Cortland, NY. This is an on-site role.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To

• Manage, oversee, and analyze traffic procedures and shipment handling for PTM and PRDC products.
• Maintain working knowledge of SAP to support daily shipment processing. Collaborate with other departments as needed to ensure shipping paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
• Process Manual Delivery shipments, update the online database daily, contact carriers as needed, and prepare required invoices, SEDs, and bills of lading to move goods that are not on a customer order. Maintain appropriate backup documentation in accordance with company policy.
• Process customer orders, contact carriers as needed, and prepare bills of lading, invoices, SEDs, and other special documentation required for shipments, including special packing lists, invoices, and bills of lading.
• Ensure a safe working environment consistent with OSHA and company policies, maintain and effectively use required safety equipment, and ensure adherence to environmental regulations.

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include

• Associate degree in Business or a related technical field.
• Seven (7) years of experience in logistics, traffic, and shipping, or nine (9) years of experience in a related discipline.
• Dangerous Goods certification required for air shipments.
• Regulatory and compliance background in trucking materials.
• Experience handling hazardous materials.

The salary range for this role is $80,000–$95,000. This is the range we, in good faith, believe represents the possible compensation for this role at the time of posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
