Gala Industries, Inc. is seeking an Export Spare Parts Shipper to generate export paperwork and coordinate shipments from its Eagle Rock, VA facility.

You will prepare documents such as commercial invoices, USMCA forms, and Certificates of Origin, ensuring accuracy and compliance with shipping regulations. You will work with the spare parts and inventory teams to manage orders, schedule shipments, and support cost-efficient logistics.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills.

Responsabilités

• Prepare required paperwork for customer orders such as commercial and proforma invoices.
• Handle USMCA forms for Canada and Mexico.
• Process Certificate of Origin and Bill of Lading using specified systems.
• Prepare SED forms via AES.
• Create documentation for other countries as required.
• Coordinate signing and stamping of paperwork with Chamber of Commerce.
• Coordinate carriers for shipments.
• Monitor and reprint packing slips and identification tags for parts orders.
• Consolidate packing slips and orders and generate invoices for coordinated shipments.
• Maintain Schedule B numbers for items.
• Work with spare parts and inventory to manage shipments.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Main Position Objectives

The Export Documentation / Shipper generates the required documentation for export orders. They help to promote the high standard of customer service that Gala Industries, Inc. has built. Ensuring that paperwork for all orders is processed accurately and as required.

• Prepares the required paperwork for customer orders such as:
• Commercial and Proforma invoices.
• USMCA forms for Canada and Mexico.
• Certificate of Origin, Bill of Lading using Shipping Solutions and UPS.
• SED (Shippers Export Declaration) forms through AES (Automated Export System).
• Various forms of documentation for other countries as required.
• Coordinates the signing and stamping of required paperwork through the Chamber of Commerce.
• Applicant will be responsible for coordinating carriers.
• Applicant will monitor packing slips not shipped and reprint packing slips and identification tags for spare parts orders and Misc. shipments.
• Applicant will consolidate multiple packing slips and orders and generate invoices for Coordinated shipments.
• Applicant will be tasked with maintaining Schedule B numbers for items.
• Applicant will work closely with the spare parts group and inventory personnel to manage shipments.
• Any other tasks as assigned by manager.

The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be in a warehouse situation and subject to changing environmental conditions. Including, but not limited to: temperature variations, humidity, rain, snow, wind and direct sunlight.
