Job summary

Seaboard Foods in Sioux City, Iowa, is seeking an Export Product & Process Specialist who serves as the liaison between FSQA, operations and export sales to ensure specifications are met and to develop new product codes and specification changes.

The role resolves complaints and claims, develops corrective and preventative actions, and supports export customer interactions while coordinating production and quality assurance teams.

Qualifications

• Food manufacturing experience is required.
• Familiarity with protein production, fabrication, processes, equipment, QA and specs.
• Understanding of Japanese culture and social protocols is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure export products meet specifications for Japan and other markets.
• Respond to export customer questions, complaints and claims promptly.
• Develop a positive culture with production and FSQA for export products.
• Serve as back up to the sales desk and manage orders as needed.
• Assist sales with product availability and inventory management.
• Host export customers for facility tours and audits when required.
• Prepare teams for export customers and auditor visits.
• Follow up on summaries and customer requests; maintain relationships with key customers.
• Coordinate with export sales to ensure smooth communication and delivery.
• Provide after-hours support for production issues and inquiries.

Skills
