Responsibilities

• The Expo ensures orders are cooked in a timely fashion and that food is delivered hot to the table.
• Acts as the liaison between service and kitchen for quality, accuracy and timeliness of orders.
• Receive and order products.
• Make prep recipes and menu items to spec.
• Label, date, cover and refrigerate prepped items for the line.
• Perform opening, closing and side duties: setup, stock, and break down of equipment and prep areas.
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen, line, expo, dish room and back dock.
• Clean dishes and operate a dishwasher.
• Practice safety and sanitation standards and maintain urgency.
• Recycle products where possible.
• Read order tickets or Kitchen Display System.
• Assemble orders with quality checks.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and readiness for high-demand scenarios.
• Handle special prep and large party procedures.
