Job summary

Ruby Tuesday is hiring for an Expo position at our Pueblo location. You will help ensure timely, accurate food prep and coordination with Kitchen and service teams, using the Kitchen Display System to manage orders and tickets.

The role requires friendly guest service, ability to work evenings/weekends/holidays, and comfort with fast-paced, multi-tasking settings. No prior experience required; 18+ and compliance with safety standards are expected.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Kitchen Display System (KDS) to maintain flow of service and prepare items to spec.
• Ensure hot food is hot and cold food is cold and presented well.
• Organize the expo area by tickets and station setup.
• Complete side work and station maintenance.
• Set up, clean, and organize work area before/during/after shifts.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Expedite service for TueGo, Catering, dining room, and bar areas.
• Maintain a friendly, team-focused attitude to drive guest satisfaction.
• Support the service team to prevent guest complaints and encourage repeat business.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Details: Job Location: 2164-Pueblo - PUEBLO, CO 81008, Salary Range: $14.42 - $14.50 Hourly, JOBSUMMARY

Expo is responsible for ensuring all food orders are prepared within a timely manner, according to Guest special requests, and Ruby Tuesday recipes. Communicates with service and heart of house teams to expedite all food deliveries for TueGo/Catering, dining room, and bar areas.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Utilize the Kitchen Display System (KDS) effectively to maintain the flow of service, control cost/waste, and prepare items to spec and accommodate guest modifications
• Ensure the highest quality preparation and presentation of food items; confirms hot food is hot and cold food is cold.
• Organize the table orders in the expo area according to the tickets.
• Complete specific side work and station maintenance.
• Responsible for the set-up, cleanliness, and organization of the work area before, during, and after every shift.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Manage the preparation of all re-cooks and special-order requests, including allergen orders.
• Expedite the service of food for TueGo, Catering, dining room, and bar areas.
• Maintain a gracious, pleasant and friendly attitude, while contributing to a teamwork-based work environment.
• Support the service team in a way as to create new and repeat business and avoid guest complaints.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position requires regular attendance; requires the ability to stand or walk for hours at a time; frequently required to hear, speak, walk, crawl, climb, stand, reach, bend, balance, kneel, stoop, lift and carry items up to 50 lbs; requires ability to tolerate significant changes in temperature, and frequent immersion of hands in water and cleaning or sanitizing solutions. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
