Allied Universal is seeking an Explosive Detection Canine (K9) Handler in Manassas, VA. You will work with a trained Explosive Detection K9 to search client sites, including buildings and vehicles, following post orders and safety protocols.
The role requires at least two years of military, law enforcement, or corrections experience, a high school diploma, and a valid vehicle for transporting the K9 partner. A housing arrangement may be required for the K9 partner.

Our canine group, under Allied Universal® Enhanced Protection Services, is hiring an Explosive Detection Canine (K9) Handler. The Explosive Detection K9 Handler partners with a trained Explosive Detection Canine (EDC), or “K9”, to conduct searches in/at assigned client sites, including corporate buildings, loading docks, delivery vehicles, open areas and/or other situations as needed.

5 Years Canine Experience Is Required, Paid Training Provided.
Hourly Pay Rate: $30.10 +$4 increase w/ clearance
Canine Stipend provided.
Required for this position minimum of two years of one of these qualifications: military, law enforcement or corrections.
Must have a personal vehicle to transport K9 partner, they cannot be transported via public transportation.
Must be able to accommodate housing for K9 partner; K9 partner resides with you
