Job Goal
To lead students towards the fulfillment of their potential by translating the district curriculum goals and objective into learning experiences that will contribute to the development of skills necessary for becoming a mature and responsible individual.

Planning & Preparation
- Demonstrates content knowledge and makes connections between the content and all relevant disciplines.
- Understands child and adolescent development and displays an understanding of how students learn.
- Establishes and clearly articulates instructional outcomes based upon district curriculum guidelines, state standards, and/or content standards.
- Utilizes personnel resources as appropriate to enhance content and pedagogical knowledge.
- Provides relevant instructional goals that represent significant cognitive challenges with differentiation and meaningful learning.
- Uses assessment results to plan and modify instruction.
Classroom Environment
- Creates an environment of respect and rapport.
- Establishes a culture for learning.
- Establishes and manages classroom procedures to maximize learning time.
- Effectively manages student behavior through the establishment of rules and clear expectations that are fair and conducive to learning.

Qualifications
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree (Education) or related field.
- Current Illinois Professional Educator License with endorsement(s) appropriate for the position.
- OR Current Illinois CTE License in the area of Finance and Business (FBS) or Information Technology (IT)
Conditions Of Employment
- As designated by the School District's Official Calendar for the school year.
- Salary and conditions established by the Board of Education.
Evaluation
- Performance evaluation will occur in accordance with District 44 evaluation process and procedures. By the first day of school, all LPEs shall receive the Notification of Evaluation.
