*All certified job postings eligible for the Enhanced Support Stipend will receive an $8000 stipend ($2000 paid each quarter) in 2025-2026.*

Minimum Requirements:

This position requires a Consultant certification (CA-27) in the area/grade span for which the certificate is requested. A minimum of 3 years teaching experience in the area/grade span is required by EPSB for the CA-27. Although the certificate is not required prior to being considered for this position, the CA-27 application will be initiated once a candidate is recommended for the position. Exceptions: A candidate with a Teacher Leader or Supervisor of Instruction endorsement can serve in any consultant role without additional certification.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops and maintains advisory boards for each academy and plans four (4) meetings per year; provides a yearly planning calendar during opening week of school for the entire year.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Rank II and KY Teacher Certification
• Three (3) years of successful teaching experience
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to travel to work locations
• Effective communication skills

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience with CTE Academies
• Demonstrated academic leadership experience
• Experience in the human resources, workforce development, or education fields
• Demonstrated history of working with external partners (business partners, advisory boards, industry associations, etc.)
• Effective and efficient attention to detail with experience working with student data, maintaining records, producing reports
• Strong professional standards, communication skills, and understanding of meeting protocols in working with business partners
• Experience in a diverse workplace

Explore Coaches’ primary work is to support the Explore Academies at each assigned school. This includes providing the Explore teachers with instructional coaching, curriculum support, and materials; bridging middle schools and high schools; and making community connections to support Explore Academies.
